Lore of Sentience

In The Beginning, the Block was dry and barren, filled with lava and Pure-rock. It so happened that in these days An Essence far more powerful than those before him stumbled upon this rocky outcropping in the bleak world. It saw potential and it touched the world. From its dark recesses water flowed, cooling the Lava and flowing in to make oceans. Wild grass grew and animals bred.

The Being felt the world was lacking something, someone who would appreciate the world. It was so that he created the first being, called "Creeper", but his creation was unstable and filled with too much love. The creeper would explode of happiness when it reached to hug someone, this only made his existence more saddened, for the Creepers knew that the moments of greatest happiness would be the moment of their death.
The Being felt sad for these strange green beings, but he made another effort, and he made the Man. Tall and skinny, sentient and smart, the Man was able to build structures like Pyramids and Temples, they learnt to write and draw. They mined in the Dark Abyss of the Block, reaching the bottom of the world and the Void.
The Men explored the occult of the Void, and they found the Nether. Some Men entered the newly found Spirit world, only to be trapped by its glowing lava and dark secrets. They stayed and built hellion structures; they morphed into horrible beings unable to build any more, trapped by the Madness of the Nether. The became the Blazes.
The Men once again studied the Void to see if they could cure the Blazes, but they found another Portal structure, they built underground complexes with expansive libraries in Endermaenic about the portals and the sciences of it. They built this new portal, forgetting their afero-mentioned mistake in the Nether.
By building this portal they awoke a long Evil, the Ender Dragon. The Ender Dragon invaded their souls and minds, corrupting and twisting them calling them all to the Ender in promise of treasure. So they went. When they arrived the Ender Dragon forced them into slavery, making them travel to the Overworld to make them collect souls against their will. They changed over time, becoming slimmer to fit through their Portals and Cross-Dimension Warp Holes. They became purple and unable to make building anymore, limited to placing random blocks.
The Being once again noticed something was wrong, so he made a search for the Endermen, but they were beyond his dimension. He decided to yet again make another Sentient being, but this time he only partially made it happen, he called them Testificates. They were broad-nosed pacifists. Fools with no function. The being left them to inhabit the old towns of the Men, but they did not know how to utilize it.
By now, the being had found out his mistake and discovered that by creating many beings he had split knowledge and ability among them. He decided to make only one being this time, the Steve. The Steve was by far the most promising, with ingenuity and creativity the Steve built even better than the Men.
The Being hoped that the Steve would find the Men, so that they would join together to build the greatest things in the Block, the Steve would learn of ancient secrets and the Men would learn of creativity.
It is so that the Steve was created to free the Men from wherever they may be, so the Ender Dragon made all the Endermen try to kill the Steve if they were spotted.
It is up to the Steve to make the Men free. It is up to you...
