| I have been thinking about our mod a lot, and considering where we are expanding. I suddenly realized how we are reaching everything except Redstone the very essence of frustration, glory, and achievement in Minecraft. Being awake late [3:01 Ante Meridian] I decided to think of ideas: Player-Sensed Double Redstone Signal {Block}: - Spoiler:
For a long time people have been attempting to build Player Sensors, and concealing the method for activating their machines. From traps, to elevators, passing through regular doors. I thought we should give them what they want. When the player gets "seen" by the block (must not be behind blocks (Except bars, pains, glass, and water), and at least Six blocks away) it sends two Redstone signals from the sides.
Item-Selective Redstone Signal Emitter {Block}: - Spoiler:
Through many adventure maps I have seen times when it asks you to leave an item behind, for example a sword. This sword falls on a pressure plate that opens a door and so you continue. However, many people don't do this and simply drop a spider eye or a seed, causing the same effect. The same happpens on server toll bridges or server markets. I believe (I dare say) I have come up with the solution: The ISRSE. item falls into the block, it gets absorbed into the block and put into the chest.What has hapenned before however, is that whoever placed the ISRSE has put the items that it can accept in a special set of slots inside the block. If the item that was absorbed by the chest is an item it can absorb, it sends a Redstone pulse. If it is not, the item gets destroyed (by the bucket of lava)
Item Sorter {Block}: - Spoiler:
This block acts like the ISRSE but does not emit a Redstone signal, but separates the items into different categories which are piped to chests. This way mob grinders, or anything that gets dropped on top/placed inside gets sorted. This is how it is crafted: Obviously, to pipe the things from the Item Sorter we are going to need pipes, which are pretty strait forward. They are powered by Metal-Conducting Redstone Torches. They only suck objects out of blocks that can hold objects inside them (i.e. Chests, Dispenser, Item Sorter) and place them in other blocks that can hold items in them (i.e. Chests, Dispenser, Item Sorter) The Pipes are crafted like this: Or like this: Metal-Conducing Redstone Torches are crafted like this:
Light Sensor Double Redstone Signal {Block}: - Spoiler:
It is what it sounds like. When it senses a light level higher than 7 it starts emitting a Redstone signal. It can be used for many things such as mob grinders, lamp posts, and secret doorways.
Timer {Block}: - Spoiler:
The timer is a block that sends a redstone signal at a specific time during the day. By right-clicking one can specify a certai moment in the day during which the timer will pulse, than it will pulse at the same time next day.This is how it would be crafted:
Wireless Redstone {Block & Items}: - Spoiler:
Indeed, this is what it sounds like. This is probably one of the Top Notch (see what I did there) suggestions for Minecraft. So I decided to make my own version. It is made of Various parts, so here it goes. Transmitter: For this the Redstone torch will actually be a Metal-Conducing Redstone Torch The transmitter is the machine that sends the pulse through the air. It is crafted like this: To actually send a Redstone signal it must receive a physical Redstone pulse. Receiver: This receives the Redstone signal. It can activate blocks by being beside them, but does not infuse blocks with Redstone power, or it can infuse Redstone dust with Redstone power. It is crafted like this: But, there is one more thing that is needed for Wireless Redstone to work, and that is an antenna. Antenna: Placed on top of blocks, it is a vertical pole. Without the antenna neither of the two blocks work. (They do, but they don't transmit or receive anything in wireless form). Crafted like this:
Signal Breaker {Block}: - Spoiler:
The Signal Breaker is a block that one place in an intersection, or single line or Redstone. When supplied a Redstone signal itself, it ceases all Redstone signal passing through it. Making it a selectively permeable Redstone surface. It is crafted like this:

| I like all the ideas, but i don't think it really... fits into FoD, tbh. I suggest we make a little more simple version of it, or something. | |
