Dimensional Tether

Come into the portal, boy! Come on! ... Why didn't you come with me?

The Dimentional Tether would allow tamed mobs ( that you tethered ) to cross dimensions with the Player.
Edit: Since in 1.4 mobs now go into portals (I still don't know about the end portal, however. . .) this would work like a fishing rod, sticking to them and forcing them to go with you. This way you don't need to wait for them to walk in.

This could, potentually, be used as a Chunk Loader as well.

In the new snapshots mobs can use portals the same way humans can. This is unnecessary.
